Lots of people are going to throw offers at you and you would be wise to understand what you have before you make any decisions. On the right side of the slide, in front of the ejection port, the class of the firearm and the Colt name is stamped onto the slide. If the serial number under the firing pin retainer plate matches the frame's serial number, you might have a $2,000 gun based on what I'm seeing (maybe a bit less due to the pitting on the slide, thin finish, narrow hammer), but the devil is in the details. Detailed pictures of all parts broken down are a must. OP, you need to educate yourself thoroughly before listing this gun. Rich, with all due respect, what makes you think that is a Rem Rand frame? It looks to be a properly GHD marked early 1943 Colt frame. At suction these mismatched guns are going for about $1000. If the serial is real 921K then it could put it into 1942 and may boost the value a bit. ![]() The slide and the barrel would bring another $250 - $300. ![]() ![]() If the frame is original finish which it looks to be, you could get in the neighborhood $900 or more by itself to a collector that needs an early frame. The frame is a type 2 possibly a late type 1 Remington Rand which looks to be correct with a Colt 1911A1 slide, the frame does not look to have any arsenal marks the GHD is a WWII acceptance stamp. ![]()
